The traffic commissioner's office is currently investigating a special traffic accident involving a runaway that occurred on Lockhauser Straße last weekend. On Saturday night (21.09), a resident parked his Audi car in front of the house on the side of the road near Genossenschaftstraße. At around 03:45 a.m., he even heard an alarm system while he was asleep, but initially thought nothing of it. It was not until the next morning that the owner noticed considerable damage to the driver's side. The numerous scratch marks and the destroyed wing mirror as well as other damage are estimated at around 7500 euros. The person who caused the damage during the night had left the scene of the accident without permission and left the considerable material damage behind. The police later recorded the accident in detail and secured the traces of the accident. According to initial investigations, the vehicle responsible may have been an older Opel Astra G car.
