In order to reach citizens and journalists even better, we have now launched our own WhatsApp channel. In future, you will be able to find the latest press releases, searches, traffic disruptions, information on events and much more here!
Important: The channel serves as an information platform and is only managed by the press office during office hours (Mon - Thu 07:00 - 16:00, Fri 07:00 - 14:00).
You can easily find the channel using the app's search function. Alternatively, you can also access it via the following link:

We look forward to welcoming many subscribers!
In contrast to the social media channels we have used to date, the channel is a so-called "one-way communication". Subscribers cannot reply in the chat history like in conventional group chats, nor can they write a private message to our WhatsApp profile
The only thing they can do is send reactions in the form of emojis to the content we publish, which then appear in small letters under each post
As the owner of the channel, we can only see how many subscribers our channel has. We cannot see the names or phone numbers of individual people. Subscribers to the channel cannot see each other's names or phone numbers either, but only the total number of members.
