The Bergisch Gladbach, Overath/Rösrath and Burscheid police stations belong to the Emergency Response Directorate. The officers are deployed there on 24-hour watch and rotation duty.
The operations control center, which receives your 110 emergency calls around the clock,
is also on alternating duty.
In addition, three service dog handlers with their service dogs belong to this directorate.
Another 29 district officers carry out "citizen-oriented" police work on the ground.
In order to make this work as intensive and effective as possible, they are largely relieved of investigative activities.
